Volley Wrocław parted ways with head coach Wojciech Kurczyński following a disappointing start to the 2026/27 TAURON Liga women’s volleyball season, marking the league’s first coaching change of the actual season.
The Polish club confirmed that Kurczyński left his position, citing unsatisfactory sporting results and ongoing squad difficulties.
After five rounds, Volley Wrocław sit 11th in the league standings with just two points. The team collected those points in defeats against ITA TOOLS Stal Mielec and MOYA Radomka Radom before suffering three consecutive losses, most recently against UNI Opole at Orbita Arena.
Kurczyński took charge ahead of the 2025/26 season, returning to a club where he had previously worked as a statistician, assistant coach and head coach.
