The German men’s volleyball record champions VfB Friedrichshafen are homeless!

German media reported that just three weeks before the start of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season, the most titled club in the competition Friedrichshafen remained without a hall. The ZF Arena, a venue in which the “Häfler” play their home matches and which also serves as their training facility, will be closed forever.

This was a decision of the city of Friedrichshafen. The reason for putting a key in the lock of the ZF Arena is a latent risk for safety inside the hall due to corrosion on the steel cables of the roof structure.
