Serbian player Ana Antonijević turned to European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) to defend her rights against Èpiù Pomì Casalmaggiore.

Through the agency that represents her, the 32-year-old ex-Serbia National Team setter Antonijević filed a complaint against the club for which she competed last season, Casalmaggiore, in front of the CEV.

Gian Luca Pasini wrote in his blog that the 2011 EuroVolley winner claimed she received only four salaries in 2019/20 and reported that she was left without the club’s assistance during the coronavirus pandemic, particularly in regard to returning to her home country.

Casalmaggiore didn’t issue an official comment on the Antonijević case yet.
