Ailama Cese Montalvo
“On July 14, the official website of volleyball club Casalmaggiore (Italy) posted the news about the club’s newcomers including the Cuban national team player Ailama Cese Montalvo. According to this information, the Cuban will represent the club in the Italian championship in season 2020-2021.
However, at the current moment, Ailama Cese Montalvo has a valid contract with the Uralochka volleyball club for two more seasons (2020-21 and 2021-22). Moreover, Montalvo did not apply to the management of the club with a request to terminate the contract neither did she sign any contracts with other clubs. Representatives of the Italian club also did not get in touch with Uralochka and did not conduct any negotiations on this issue.
Thanks to the prompt reaction by the FIVB authorities the validity of the mentioned contract was verified and reconfirmed with the Cuban Sports authorities. According to the regulations, the international transfer can only be issued to the Uralochka volleyball club on the basis of a valid and legal contract.” officially announce Uralochka.
