In a dramatic finale to the 2025 Russian PARI Super League, Lokomotiv Kaliningrad secured their third national title by defeating Dynamo-Ak Bars Kazan in a nail-biting five-match final series, finishing 3-2.
Despite losing the first two matches in Kazan without taking a single set, Lokomotiv roared back with three consecutive wins—two at home and a decisive final victory on enemy ground. The fifth and final game ended 3-1 in favor of Lokomotiv (25:21, 19:25, 28:26, 25:21).
Since its founding in the 2018/19 season, Lokomotiv has never finished lower than second place in the league, and now celebrates its third championship title after previous wins in 2021 and 2022.
