Halkbank has announced the return of Bulgarian volleyball legend Tsvetan Sokolov for the 2025/2026 season.

Sokolov, one of the most respected opposite hitters in world volleyball, last played for Halkbank between 2014 and 2016, helping the team capture the Turkish League, Cup, and Super Cup titles. Now, at 36, he’s back in Ankara, ready to lead once again.
With a career spanning top teams across Bulgaria, Italy, and Russia, Sokolov brings championship pedigree—including multiple CEV Champions League and FIVB Club World titles.
