After underperforming in the 2020/21 Italian men’s volleyball Cup, NBV Verona quickly reacted in the transfer market.

After being eliminated from the national cup, Verona turned to refresh their roster.

They announced formalizing the agreement with the Russian opposite hitter Aleksandr Kimerov. His volleyball curriculum includes winning the gold medal with “Zbornaya” at the Universiade in 2015. Verona reached a one-year agreement with a 2.15m tall player who came from Fakel.

The Russian side terminated the contract with him due to his behavior outside the court. Namely, Kimerov lost temper a few months ago, attacking a car driver in Moscow. He was also involved in an incident in a plane, three years ago.

Boričić re-elected as President of CEV

Probably the most retarded sport federation in the whole of Europe, full of grandpas like Boričić making proft without any useful deeds. Another 4 frutiful years of stealing the clubs money. Taking a look at the CEV website layout says it all. Reply

ITA M: New setter in Piacenza – Michele Baranowicz

He will make a much needed change at the setter position, where Piacenza has been outclassed at this year.
I do hope Baranowicz has learned to become a better teammate than before. Chemistry will be crucial Reply
