Azerbaijani player Polina Rahimova is owner of a new world record in number of points scored in one women's match!

Rahimova collected 58 points in today’s match of Round 14 in Japanese V-League. Her team Toyota Auto Body Queenseis defeated Hitachi Rivale 3-2 (24-26, 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 9-15).

Previous record holder was Bulgarian Elitsa Vasileva – 57 points for Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders against hi-pass Zenith Korea Expressway, in 2014.

Recall that Australian Thomas Edgar set new world record in male competition, also in 2015.
