POL M: Slovakian setter Masný changes sports nationality into Polish

One of the best Slovakian male volleyball players in the last more than a decade Michal Masný changed sports nationality.

The request of the veteran Slovakian player Masný to change the sports nationality into Polish was approved by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

The procedure of the legendary setter to gain Polish citizenship lasted from March to October and it was a condition for him to apply for the change of the sports nationality. Masný has been continuously playing in Poland since 2007. He has a Polish wife and permanent residency in the city of Bydgoszcz.

The setter currently competes for Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie and was appointed a captain.
