The PlusLiga side Skra contracted Mihajlo Mitić, the Serbia National Team setter.

The 30-year-old (in two days) player, had quite an interesting career in the last three seasons. After competing in the top-level leagues and famous clubs – Sir Safety Conad Perugia (Italy), Chaumont (France), and Gazprom-Yugra (Italy) – Mitić played for Cyprus’ APOEL, Lebanese Speed Ball Chekka, and Czech Black Volley Beskydy.

During his career, he won two championships in Serbia but most importantly the 2011 CEV European Championship with his country’s national team in 2011. In Skra, Mitić will replace American Jennings Franciskovic with whom the club terminated the contract that has been signed in the offseason.
