After today’s matches of the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship, Galatasaray HDI Sigorta and Halkbank are tied at second place in the charts.

Galatasaray HDI Sigorta achieved the fifth successive win in the 2020/21 Turkish Men’s AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi regular season. In Round 18, led by Puerto Rican Maurice Torres (24 points, 4 blocks), the Istanbul side swept Atkema by a 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-20).

Thus, Galatasaray tied at second place in the charts with Halkbank, who were also successful today. Mostly thanks to Cuban Fernando Hernández (16 points) and Austrian Alexander Berger (71 % reception; 21 % perfect), the Ankara team prevailed over Solhan Spor (3-0).

FIVB, change the rule, please!

I agree with coach Kolakovic and the justifications he brings for changing this particular rule. I am convinced that most referees share his opinion too. Reply

Re: @Sorah
That is very stupid too, indeed. If we do a simple analysis we can find a lot of other very stupid things. Another one is uselessly continuing the set when the score difference is 10 points. Who has recovered from that? (I mean in the senior games, not in the underage games.)

Re: @Sorin Acela
The most stupid rule is each set has 25 points and teams only play serious game from point 15-16.
If sets had 15 or 11 points, they cared from first point, and didn't cause spectators to sleep. Reply
