Lipetsk
The winning streak of Lokomotiv came to an end in Round 13 of the 2020/21 Russian Women’s Superliga Parimatch regular season. After five wins, the vice-champions were stunned by Lipetsk: 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-20). Irina Sazonova stood out for the newcomers with 24 points, while Ukrainian Svitlana Dorsman made 5 blocks.
Thanks to Nataliya Goncharova (19 points) and Ekaterina Enina (4 aces and 4 blocks), Dinamo Moscow beat Dinamo-Metar and extended the series of wins to six games, eight counting all competitions. The team from the country’s capital has returned to the top of the charts.
Minchanka (Nadzeya Smirnova 17 points, Nadzeya Stoliar 7 blocks) recorded the first victory in the league, which came after six defeats, eight defeats counting all competitions.
