As Gian Luca Pasini learned, Eczacıbaşı VitrA plan to part ways with the Brazilian expert Marco Aurélio Motta at the end of the next season.

In his blog, an Italian journalist mentioned the names of three of his countrymen that are in the narrowest circle of candidates to replace Motta after four successive years at the helm of ‘The Tigers’. These are Davide Mazzanti (Italy Women’s National Team and Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia, Italy), Daniele Santarelli (Croatia Women’s National Team and Imoco Volley Conegliano, Italy), and Stefano Lavarini (South Korea Women’s National Team and Igor Gorgonzola Novara, Italy).

Apart from the Italian trio, Eczacıbaşı consider hiring one domestic coach as well – Ferhat Akbaş (Grupa Azoty Chemik Police, Poland).
