RIO 2016 M: Italy and France to open men’s tournament (SCHEDULE)

Olympic Games 2016 volleyball men’s tournament is set to begin in Rio!

The European champions and World League 2015 winners France will meet Italy at tournament’s opening game.

At the same time, it’s going to be derby of the day. These two teams came to this tournament with only one wish – to win the gold or at least a medal.

But, they are not the only teams that want gold. There are five more teams that want to grab the shiniest medal – BrazilUSARussiaPolandIran

Brazil will play the first match against Mexico and every other outcome except win is unacceptable for the host team. We will watch a derby of North America USA – Canada, while the World Champions will play vs. Egypt.

Russians are absolute favorites against Cuba, while we are expecting five sets match in Argentina – Iran clash.

Recall that Russia are defending champions at this Rio 2016 tournament.
