Russian powerhouse outplayed German side Berlin Recycling Volleys in straight sets in the first match at the Final Four in Rome, Italy, and advanced to their sixth Champions League final.

BR Volleys held on for the first two sets, even had a two-point lead on several occasions in the second set, but Zenit players learned how to play these matches, a long time ago. Wilfredo León made 21 points, Maksim Mikhailov 14 and Matthew Anderson 12 points. How to compete with this? Zenit also had a powerful serving display – 11 aces.

Robert Kromm collected 12 points for the German team who will play for the bronze medal, on Sunday.
