EUROVOLLEY 2017 W: Germany win tie-breaker vs. Bulgaria to take quarterfinal ticket!

Germany have prevailed over Bulgaria in a stunning tie-break game to claim the spot in the quarterfinals 3-2 (14-25, 25-20, 16-25, 25-19, 15-11).

Bulgaria have opened the game by winning the first set 25-14, which was a sign for the German team to take the rival very serious. In the second set, Germany responded but in the third, Bulgaria again took the lead.

However, Germany again had an answer to force the game into the tie-break! In a decisive set, the German girls dominated and took the win!

Louisa Lippman was the best scorer in Germany with 21 points while Elitsa Vasileva ended game with 23 points on the other side.

The rival of Germany in quarterfinals is Azerbaijan.

Poland – Turkey 1-3 (22-25, 25-27, 25-18, 23-25)

Bulgaria – Germany 2-3 (25-14, 20-25, 25-16, 19-25, 11-15)

Netherlands – Croatia 3-0 (25-18, 25-8, 25-21)
