The Serbian National Team has shown a total domination in the semifinals of the EuroVolley in Baku, Azerbaijan, as they outclassed Turkey 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-21) to advance to their third-ever final of the continental championship and fight to win the gold medal no.2.

Serbia warded off Turkey with resilient reception (53%) and superior serving display (8 aces). The ladies coached by Zoran Terzić did not lag behind in blocking as well (12 kill blocks). It’s worth mentioning that Serbia have lost only one set in the tournament, so far vs. Belgium – in the preliminary stage!

Tijana Bošković was unstoppable in Serbia, finishing the match with game-high 23 points (5 kill blocks). Gözde Kırdar made 14 for Turkey, leaving all other scorers of her national team far behind on single digits.

Serbia will face The Netherlands in the finals on Sunday, October 1.
