Taylor Sander had a magnificent display in the fourth set, winning nine points out of 22, that he has scored during the game against Serbia.
The USA have managed to defeat the Serbian side, after a great four-set game 3-1 (25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 25-22).
After losing the first set, Serbia had 23-20 lead in the second set, but they didn’t manage to win two more points as the USA made the 5-0 scoring run to win this part of the game.
However, the Serbian side didn’t want to leave the game only after three sets so they gave a huge effort to decrease the lead 2-1.
In the fourth set, even though Nikola Grbic’s side had 16-14 lead, they didn’t manage to keep the advantage – Taylor Sander is guilty…
With this victory, the USA have claimed spot in the semifinals of the tournament in Curitiba.
