In their first game at the European Olympic Qualifying tournament, they outplayed big rival, Russia in four sets – 25-15, 20-25, 25-17, 25-20.
They are probably one of the best teams if we compare them with others from all sports.
#TeamYavbou opened game by winning the first set 25-15! But, in the second set, Alekno’s team managed to stop Ngapeth and Rouzier and with some good blocks tied the score in sets 1-1!
In another two sets, we saw all powers of Tillie’s side. They started destroying the rival, there was no chance for Russia to make comeback. France got the win and remained favorite for taking the ticket for Rio!
Ngapeth had magnificent performance. With 26 points he was the top scorer, Rouzier added 19. On the other side, Mikhailov ended game with 19 points.
