German volleyball player Lukas Kampa wrote on his Facebook page that he is deeply disappointed by the decision of the IOC.
“The Russian Minister of Sports is satisfied, while the Russian Volleyball Federation obviously has a good relationship with the FIVB, as a positive doping sample was not considered as a problem. Now everyone are happy… I am glad that I can get back to watching football, in which doping is not welcome,” wrote Kampa.
Recall that Kampa had already went public about this topic when it was determined that Alexander Markin failed the drug test before the European Olympic Qualifier match between Russia and Germany.
The IOC decided not to suspend the whole Russia Olympic Team from Rio 2016, despite a doping scandal.
