Still, according to the latest info, Russia will have no troubles with the FIVB. The president of the Russian Volleyball Federation Stanislav Shevchenko stated that the FIVB should soon officially grant a permit to Russia to participate at the upcoming Olympic Games 2016.
“We are still waiting for the official decision. Still, unofficially, the FIVB confirmed us that everything is fine. I think that tomorrow morning the FIVB will release an official statement,” said Shevchenko for R-Sport.
