According to Gian Luca Pasini from gazzetta.it, Emanuele Birarelli might not be ready for the start of the World Cup 2015 due to injury! Experienced middle blocker was diagnosed with sciatica (lower back pain), and he will have to undergo special rehabilitation program.
Birarelli will not practice with the team for some time, and it is yet to be determined when he will be ready to get back on court.
