Legendary Serbian opposite hitter Ivan Miljković gained right to play for Lube after a slowdown due to paperwork that had to make him a domestic player.
Now, all the documents and approvals from International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) arrived to Lube and Miljković will be at disposal of the coach Gianlorenzo Blengini.
„The confirmation arrived and from the next weekend I will be at disposal of the coach for the game against Perugia. In the next two days, paperwork will be done. I can’t wait to start playing because I miss games. The team is playing well so far and I hope that I can make my contribution now when the team will face some tough challenges, playing on Wednesday-Sunday rhythm,“ Miljković stated for WorldofVolley.
Since he officially became Italian citizen, according to CEV regulations, Miljković will have the right to play for Italy’s National Team in two years. Nevertheless, since he will turn 38 then, it’s unlikely that he will exercize that right.
