In the official statement for Trentino website, Kaziyski apologized to Modena fans for the inappropriate gesture that he made during the third set when he was leaving the court.

“Everything started from the moment when I exchanged a few unpleasant words with Bruno Rezende. I said to him and to the main referee that we could not tolerate Bruno’s behavior anymore. However, that is not an excuse for the inappropriate gesture that I made while going out of the court. It was not addressed to Modena fans, but to one person who has thrown an object from the stands toward me. That made me lose my head and I am the only one to blame for that. For this reason, I want to apologize to all Modena fans and to the entire volleyball public, because we, players, should be above those kind of things. I hope that, starting from today, we will all go back to taking about volleyball only,” stated Kaziyski.
