After Gi Group Monza member Marcello Forni was caught while using illegal substances, another player from Italian Men’s volleyball Serie A1 has failed a drug test.

As Italian media reported, Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia receiver Carlos Eduardo Barreto Silva ‘Kadu’ was found positive to the substance clostebol, an anabolic steroid, after the match against Cucine Lube Civitanova, on March 8.

By the proposal of the National Anti-doping prosecutor, the Brazilian player got suspended as a precautionary measure.
