Cristiano Lucchi
The decision came as a result of poor performances of Pomi Casalmaggiore at the beginning of the season in Serie A1. After the defeat to Pesaro, the board of the team has decided to terminate a contract with Marcelo Abbondanza. It was the fourth defeat out of five matches in the domestic league.
In the last two seasons, Lucchi was the head coach of Club Italia. In 2016, he was in coaching team of the Italian women’s national team.
“I need to meet my players and to make it clear to them that at this moment we need to stay focused and to try to overcome this crisis,” says Lucchi.
