Volleyball club Gubernya from Nizhny Novgorod is barely managing to play games in the Russian Championship. According to the Bulgarian “Press” coach Plamen Konstantinov is literally working for free, as he and players haven’t received any salary.
The case was reveled after fans of Gubernya wrote and open letter to the governor of the region, seeking help for the volleyball team.
Club is participating in the Challenge Cup as well, and it is interesting that its rival CVC Gabrovo has withdrawn from the competition due to financial troubles!
