Resovia vs. Skra
On wings of taking trophy in the Polish Cup, Skra prevailed title holders Resovia in first two sets, but then became a bit tired allowing opponents to come on verge of a full turnaround 3-2 (25-22, 31-29, 24-26, 23-25, 15-13).
Resovia started tie-break perfectly (3-0, 5-2) but then, Mariusz Wlazły woke up and was unstoppable until the end. Skra’s players neutralized Bartosz Kurek in decisive set moving up from 9-8 to 11-8.
Resovia approached to 14-13 when Skra’s coach Falasca called for time-out and Nicolas Maréchal finished it 15-13.
Despite being indisposed in tie-break, Kurek ended game as the best scorer with 38 points! On the other side, Wlazły and Facundo Conte had 21 each.
