#TeamYavbou looked amazing in the first two sets but in another three they couldn’t stop World Champions!
Laurent Tillie’s side won the opening set against the World champions with a pretty much good level of play. In the second set, they continued playing even much better to hammer the rival 25-13 for 2-0 lead.
Antiga had to do something and he decided to send Konarski on the court instead of Kurek.
The third set was the most uncertain! After missing 5 match points, Poland managed to set the control and to stay in the game 31-29. The bench players Konarski and Buszek were the key players for creating the comeback.
In the fourth set France‘s game fell apart! Antiga’s side quickly smashed the European champions and tied the score in sets.
Even though France had two-point lead in the tie-break 7-5, Poland were playing with so much confidence and they created 4-0 scoring run to take over the lead 9-7! Afterwards, #TeamYavbou couldn’t return to the game and after Michal Kubiak point, Poland remained undefeated.
The top scorers on the winning side were Konarski with 19 points and Buszek with 15 points. In France, Ngapeth ended game with 21 points, Rouzier had 19.
