Despite numerous offers from many different parts of the volleyball world, Andrea Anastasi has decided to extend his contract with Lotos Trefl Gdansk. Italian coach signed a new 1+1 deal with the Polish team.
“Together with Andrea Anastasi we came up to a conclusion that it is for the best for both sides to continue our cooperation. We have extended his contract for one more year. Lotos Trefl Gdansk are pleased with the fact that Anastasi will remain our head coach, especially because he decided to turn down many offers from stronger clubs, just to stay with us,” said Lotos Trefl Gdansk president Dariusz Gadomski.
