“Yes, we are interested, but Russian Volleyball Federation can not organize such an event all by itself. We need a support of the government. We had some conversations with Ministry of Sport, but so far we haven’t received any confirmation that country will back us in this project. If we get help from the government, then we would be happy to host the World Championship” said Yarmenko for rsport.ru.
Recall that Ary Graca, President of the FIVB, stated that Russia would be a perfect host of the Men’s World Championship 2018.
