Tetyukhin
Sergey played today at the World Cup against Egypt and it was his 300th match in the Russian national team. Congratulations!
At age 40, Tetyukhin is still contributing a lot to the national team and he is one of the best players. After joining the team, Alekno’s first move was to call back him for the international duty. It seems that he was right.
With the national team he won one silver and two bronze medals at the Olympic games, while during his career he was a winner of World Championship, World Cup and World League!
It is also the record in Russian volleyball as Sergeywill become the only player to reach 300 or more caps for the national team. Behind him are Alexey Kazakov with 276 caps, Konstantin Ushakov with 254, Vadim Hamuttskih with 237, Ruslan Olikhverwith 213, Sergey Grankin with 206 and Alexey Kuleshov with 200.
