Dinamo Krasnodar won their third Russian Cup ever after they beat current champions, Dinamo Kazan, in Moscow finals 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-15).
Tatyana Kosheleva led Krasnodar to a big win with 23 points, followed by Nataliya Malykh who scored 19.
In Kazan, Darya Stolyarova had 20 while Bulgarian Elitsa Vasileva added 16 points.
„This victory is a team venture! In general, I am very happy for our team! I want to thank the girls, especially the coaches, all of our medical staff. It was not easy, for all of us, but we all hope that this victory will change our situation for the better,“ Kosheleva said after the match.
