Dutch ladies prevailed over Turkey, who suffered their premiere defeat, in the second round of Group 1 – Pool C1, in Kaliningrad, Russia 3-0 (27-25, 25-21, 25-22)

It was a pretty close encounter despite the straight-set win of The Netherlands since Turkey has been alive in each set until the very end. Dutch ladies were much better in reception, softening rival’s attack.

Lonneke Slöetjes was the most efficient player in the winning team with1 15 points. Polen Uslupehlivan had 17 in Turkey.
