Derby match of the Russian Championship Round 8 between Fakel Novy Urengoy and Zenit Kazan will be played today at 15:00 CET, while the visitors faced quite a problem even before the start of the match.
Zenit squad got stuck at the Kazan airport, as their flight was postponed due to ice storm. Instead of taking a morning flight in 9am, the reigning champions of Russia had to wait at the airport for several hours for weather to improve, so that their plane can finally take off.
According to Russian media, Zenit Kazan squad arrived in Novy Urengoy yesterday, late in the evening.
