Last weekend they interrupted the big derby against Fenerbahce, while this time they made even bigger incident! At the CEV Cup game between Gent and Galatasaray, Turkish fans stormed at the court, fighting with security guards along the way! They were throwing chairs and iron bars (!?), while players of Gent literally had to run away from hooligans. According to reports from the Belgian media, some players were so frightened that they left the court in tears.
Portal, hln.be writes that, eventually, people from Galatasaray managed to calm the situation, while the referee decided that the game will be played in order to prevent more riots!
Galatasaray won the game by 3-1 and qualified for the next stage.
