“I am happy about everything in Kazan. When the club wins all possible trophies there is no sense of looking for something new. Therefore, I did not even considered other offers. But, Zenit is not all about me. I am a team player and Zenit is a true team. In order to win games, I am ready to do everything for my club” said Leon for Sport Express and revealed one offer that he received last summer:
“They called me to go to Korea, but I turned down that offer. Yes, it’s good money, but I do not know how would I satisfy my ambitions by playing in Korean league” concluded Leon.
