VakıfBank has announced the signing of Brazilian opposite hitter Lorenne Teixeira for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old player recently won a bronze medal with Brazil at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and last competed for Sesi Volei Bauru in her home country.
Teixeira, standing at 187 cm, has played for several clubs in Brazil, as well as stints in Japan with Saitama Ageo Medics and in Russia with Lokomotiv Kaliningrad. Over her career, she has collected a World Championship silver medal, three Nations League silver medals, two South American titles, and multiple domestic trophies.
