Poland, Türkiye, Serbia and Italy are through to the CEV Trendyol EuroVolley 2026 Women semifinals after quarterfinal round in Istanbul and Brno.
Poland claimed 3-1 victory over the Netherlands, reaching the last four of EuroVolley for the first time since 2019. The Polish block proved decisive, producing 17 points at the net. Maja Koput and Magdalena Jurczyk contributed five blocks each, while Magdalena Stysiak and Julita Piasecka scored 14 points apiece.
Türkiye also advanced with a 3-1 win over Germany. The hosts were pushed hard throughout the match, but Melissa Vargas delivered when it mattered most, finishing with 26 points to send the defending champions into a semifinal against Serbia.
Serbia booked their place with a convincing straight-sets victory over Greece. Tijana Bošković led the scoring with 17 points as Serbia reached the EuroVolley semifinals for an eighth consecutive edition.
Italy completed the final four after overcoming Sweden 3-1 in one of the closest quarterfinals. Paola Egonu scored 27 points and Ekaterina Antropova added 22 as Italy recovered from losing the opening set.
Sweden’s Isabelle Haak still produced one of the performances of the tournament, scoring 42 points. She finished EuroVolley with 247 points, setting a new single-edition scoring record since 2011.
The semifinals will feature Türkiye against Serbia in a repeat of the 2023 final, while Poland will face Italy for a place in the championship match.
