Brazil finalized roster for the 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Championship. Head coach José Roberto Guimarães announced the 14 players who will compete as the team aims for its first-ever world title.
The Brazilians, who won silver in the last edition, will open the tournament this Friday, August 22 against Greece.
Brazil’s 14 Players:
- Setters: Macris, Roberta
- Opposites: Kisy, Rosamaria, Tainara
- Outside hitters: Gabi, Helena, Júlia Bergmann
- Middle blockers: Diana, Júlia Kudiess, Lorena, Luzia
- Liberos: Laís, Marcelle
Coach Guimarães emphasized the team’s mix of veterans and rising talents. “It’s a strong group, with players who understand the responsibility of wearing this jersey. We’ll fight match by match for our dream,” he said.
With leaders like Gabi and promising stars such as Júlia Bergmann, Brazil enters the competition determined to turn silver into gold.
