In a surprising twist, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź has announced the departure of head coach Przemysław Kawka along with players Natalia Mędrzyk and Marlena Kowalewska.
The news, delivered through social media, was framed as part of a club “restructuring.” However, the lack of detail has raised eyebrows, especially after the team’s strong performance last season, when they secured the Polish vice-championship.
Fans are now left questioning what led to such sudden changes. Was it internal conflict, strategic planning, or something behind the scenes? The club insists the situation is “stable” and that no further exits are expected, but the timing has sparked curiosity.
To counterbalance the departures, ŁKS introduced a new face: a Canadian outside hitter with experience across the U.S., Cyprus, Switzerland, Romania, and Hungary. She says she is “thrilled” to join and eager to experience the club’s passionate fan atmosphere.
