Fenerbahçe İstanbul provided huge resistance to Halkbank Ankara but the Turkish runners-up were ready for that 3-2 (22-25, 21-25, 25-12, 25-16, 15-6).

Fenerbahçe vs. Halkbank

’Fener’ missed out an enormous opportunity to throw Halkbank on their knees in a derby of Round 12 of Turkish Division 1.

The team from the largest Turkish city, supported by shamefully small number of fans (200) had 2-0 in sets, but it seemed to woke up the ’beast’ with that.

Halkbank completely returned to the match and proved why they hold leadership in he standings in front of Fenerbahçe.

The Dutch Dick Kooy was the most efficient player in the winning team, who achieved fifth in a row, with 29 points. The Brazilian Lévi Alves Cabral had 19 in Fenerbahçe.
