Cansu Çetin, a 24-year-old receiver, has officially committed herself to the Turkish Women’s volleyball Championship Vestel Venüs Sultanlar Ligi runners-up Galatasaray for the next two seasons.
Despite her young age, Cansu has been a member of nearly all major top division clubs in Turkey. She came to Galatasaray from VakıfBank İstanbul with whom she spent the last three seasons, winning two national titles, the CEV Champions League and the FIVB Club World Championship.
She also got crowned CEV European League winner once with the Turkish National Team whose jersey she wore 80 times. Cansu was excused from the national team duties in the EuroVolley 2017.
