What do you expect from this EuroVolley tournament and who are the favorites?
“The European championship 2017 is going to be interesting. I think, there will be a lot of exciting matches and unpredictable results. The national teams from Russia, Serbia, Italy and the Netherlands are the main favorites for the medals…and the host of the championship Azerbaijan should not be underestimated. This team, with the support of their fans can achieve a lot.”
How far can Belarus go?
“In front of our team is to improve the result compared to the last European Championship, when we took the 9th place.”
What do you think about the rivals in your Pool?
“In our pool we will meet Italy, Georgia and Croatia. The favorite is of course, Italy. The Croatian team, unlike the previous championship, in my opionion is weaker. We will fight to prove that the Belarusian team is able to play and win…”says Aksana Kovalchuk for WorldofVolley.
