
Brazil’s Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes thrilled home fans by winning gold at the Beach Pro Tour Elite16 in Saquarema. The duo edged out Americans Kristen Nuss and Taryn Brasher in a tight final, 2-1 (21-19, 16-21, 15-10).
“I’m so happy,” said Thamela. “Winning here, with our fans, is unforgettable.”
Victoria added, “We’re proud to give Brazil another title.”
Next up: the Tour heads to Brasília from April 16-20.
