Play Off SuperLega Credem Banca – Semifinal Game 2 Recap
In two heart-stopping five-set matches, Itas Trentino and Sir Susa Vim Perugia emerged victorious in Game 2 of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2024/25 semifinals, both going 2-0 up in their respective series.
In Piacenza, Trento narrowly defeated Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza 3-2 (27-25, 15-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-9) after a gripping 152-minute duel. Despite statistical superiority, Piacenza faltered due to 25 serve errors and 12 attack mistakes. Trento’s Michieletto (24 points) led his team with brilliance, earning MVP honors.
In Civitanova, Sir Susa Vim Perugia overcame Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-2 (25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-10), powered by Ben Tara’s 23 points and Plotnytskyi’s MVP performance. Both matches were played in front of enthusiastic crowds exceeding 3,000 spectators.
