The wait is over — the official match schedule for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships Adelaide 2025 has been released, promising ten thrilling days of elite competition from 14–23 November 2025.
A total of 96 teams (48 men’s and 48 women’s pairs) from 40 nations will go head-to-head for the ultimate title of world champions. Matches will take place across The Drive and Pinky Flat/Tarntanya Wama, transforming Adelaide into a beach volleyball hotspot.
Olympic gold medalist and event ambassador Natalie Cook OLY unveiled the schedule, describing the event as “a celebration of the world’s best athletes, Aussie culture, and the unbeatable energy of Adelaide.”
“Adelaide is ready to shine on the global stage,” Cook said. “From the first serve to championship point, fans will witness world-class competition in a uniquely Australian setting.”
The spotlight will be on opening night with the ‘Green & Gold Super Session’, featuring a powerhouse lineup of matches: Clancy/Milutinovic (AUS) vs Wang/Xia (CHN), followed by Åhman/Hellvig (SWE) vs Burnett/Hodges (AUS), and Nicolaidis/Carracher (AUS) vs Iliyas/El Gharouti (MAR).
FIVB President Fabio Azevedo said hosting the event in Australia for the first time marks “a landmark moment for the sport.”
“This championship will bring beach volleyball to new audiences and create an unforgettable experience for players and fans,” he said.
With world-class athletes, homegrown heroes, and a buzzing crowd, Adelaide is set for an unforgettable festival of beach volleyball.
