In a their opening clash of the Tauron Liga season, DevelopRes Rzeszów — the reigning Polish champions — began title defense with an 3–1 victory over BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała.
The visiting team from Rzeszów controlled the first two sets, taking them 25–21 and 25–19. BKS Bielsko-Biała fought back in the third set, fueled by home support, and managed to turn the momentum in their favor with a 25–19 win. However, DevelopRes quickly regrouped and dominated the fourth set 25–18, sealing the match and confirming their early-season form.
