The reigning champions Dinamo Moscow have lost the first game in the playoff semifinals against Uralochka.
It was an amazing five set game in which Dinamo didn’t have domination like in their last game. That is a huge warning for them since Uralochka won the home game against the team from Moscow in regular season.
Kseniya Parubets was the best scorer with 25 points, while Anastasiya Garelik contributed with 24. In Dinamo Moscow, Nataliya Goncharova had 27.
Lokomotiv Kaliningrad also won the game in five sets against Dinamo Kazan. It’s interesting that in the tie-break, Dinamo Kazan won only three points.
Irina Voronkova marked the game with 25 points.
Women’s Russian playoff semifinals:
Dinamo Moscow – Uralochka 2-3 (25-23, 23-25, 23-25, 25-19, 11-15)
Kaliningrad – Dinamo Kazan 3-2 (25-16, 19-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-3)
