Hosts of the 28th edition of the World League have not yet been determined as the bidding process starts later this week but four countries are in the narrow choice of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Namely, Brazil for Group 1, Australia from Group 2 and Austria and Germany jointly for Group 3 have expressed their desire to become organizers.

As for the 2017 World Grand Prix, the bidding process has already been launched in July 19. Candidates were obliged to submit the bids by August 15. FIVB still has not announce the results.
